I'm new to this.

After months and months of reading (and enjoying) my friend Ashley's blogs, I decided to start one of my own. So, here's my life...

This year has been an amazing year in our lives. There have been times of high stress, joy, difficulty, peace, challenge, and breakthrough. I've learned during this year that my focus needs to be 100% on God- his thoughts, his ways. I've found a new freedom as I'm learning to not "sweat the small stuff". I don't need to worry about anything, especially the matters that don't directly invovle or effect me, and that are not in my power, nor are my responsibility to change. God is in control, not me. I'm learning to see myself as God sees me- I am His creation, made in His image. I'm learning to trust in Him.

Christmas is about a week away now. This is my favorite time of year. We recently took our own family pictures, so I'll post those for your viewing pleasure. We've also added a new member to our family- Bailey. She came to us through Boxer Luv rescue...our family Christmas present this year. She's a sweet, pleasant-natured dog, and we love her more and more each day..
